2/7/13- week one follow up

2/7/13

We haven't had a very easy week around here but we are making it. anyway, i was left with little to no time to exercise (I did try to park far away from the door wherever I went and took the stairs at the ybor campus), I did do my best to practice portion control and I also did my best to back off the soda.

So by taking the stairs and easing off on "intake" I weighed in today with a loss of 4 pounds. Not much but I'll take what I can get.

About me

    Welcome! Let me start of by telling you a little bit about myself and explain my decision to start this blog.

   My name is Ericka and I am a mother to 3 littles, two girls(6&3)and one boy(1).I am a full time student in college working toward my A.S. in Radiography. I have struggled with my weight nearly all my life and it most definitely hasn't gotten easier with having 3 littles.
   After the birth of my first (who we will call LM) I lost nearly 80 pounds and was the smallest I had been since I was a child. Through a series of life altering events my weight fluctuated and eventually landed me back at "plus size". I then had my 2nd daughter (who we will call LS) and after her birth lost approx 30 pounds but after about a year gained it back just like before. Then comes my 3rd (who we will call MM) after MM I lost a whopping 50 pounds. MM is turning 1 next week and I have gained all 50 pounds back plus which lands me at * drum roll please* 231 pounds. {lending to the name of the this blog, attacking 231}

  I am hoping that by sharing this struggle publicly I will be more apt to lose the weight and keep it off!
